Eid Outfit + Weekend Photo Diary

Hello my loves! A belated Eid Mubarak to everyone that celebrated over the weekend! I hope you got lots of quality time with your loved ones and ate tons of yummy food! Waseem and I visited my family in Michigan and had an amazing Eid, alhamdulilah! I’ve included some photos from the weekend but first things first, the faaaashion hunny! Eid is super exhausting as our morning starts super early and the day consists of nonstop house/party hopping so I was excited to change into something super flowy and comfortable for the evening. My dress is by Sahar Dada, a gorgeous and talented Chicago based designer. She gifted me this piece a few weeks ago and I’m so happy I got an opportunity to wear it much sooner than later! Thank you Sahar!
I was so focused on packing light that I ended up not packing enough haha! No purse & my earrings didn’t match (they matched my first outfit puuurfectly), whoops!! But at least we can focus on the dress. My Sandals are Tory Burch and my earrings are Kiani Collection.

Some photos from the weekenddddd!!
Pookie’s first time at my childhood masjid!
Had to gift myself some bomb eidi lol! The new GoPro Hero4 Black! Sooo excited for this!
Any time I visit Michigan in the fall I absolutely have to go to the cider mill, I dont care what our itinerary is or what anyone says… I have to go. There is nothing like Fall in Michigan and we are known for our apples! I always go to Franklin Cider Mill, it’s super close to my parents house and its a mini time warp, so fun! It opened in 1837 and has been pressing cider since 1895. Last year I went crazy trying to find an Illinois cider mill but everywhere I called said that they import their cider from Michigan; I promise you there is absolutely nothing like freshhh cider, it’s so crisp & sweet – natural goodness sweet btw, their cider is 100% apples.
yayyyy!!
Apple cider hotdogs, yummm!
