So sorry for being so MIA this past week, I was sick in bed allllll week but it’s Monday now and I’m back on my feet! I have an exciting deal to share with you today! Tarte’s Beauty in the Basics 6 pc color collection is available today only on QVC for $47.96 (Regularly $58). I absolutely love Tarte’s products but especially their eyeshadows; they’re so creamy and the color payoff is fantastic. Last weekend my GF Eman & I enjoyed a little girls-staycation at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica thanks to Palm Breeze! They were having their launch party there and we were so excited to have a mini weekend getaway and to meet Shay Mitchell who was hosting; we just love her and her travel videos!! Our room was so beautiful and relaxing with a perfect view of the party – we were literally smack dab right above it! The event was poolside so even though I didn’t wear any color I got a little playful with my makeup using the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette which i swatched earlier this week! I love love love this palette and was obsessed with how my makeup turned out. I absolutely love blues and purples on brown eyes so Unicorn, the palette’s periwinkle shade, was so flattering on my eyeballs! I recreated it today and hope you guys love this tutorial!! I’ve also included photos from the event and our stay below and also stuck in our snapchat stories (which made a great vlog btw!) at the end of the tutorial! There’s a reason why I call this an All Things Beautiful blog, I’m literally all over the place talking about a million different things at once.. just like IRL. lol!
I think I speak for the vast majority when I say that I’m a sucker for neutral palettes but I’m so excited about this loud beauty that Anastasia Beverly Hills just released last week, the Artist Palette! I’ve been dying to swatch this baby ever since it arrived in the mail but I had to hold myself back until I could take some product photos sans fingerprints. This palette features 12 colors ranging from matte to shimmer with a couple neutral-ish shades but mostly highly pigmented summer colors.
This palette is supposed to compliment a neutral palette to create practically any look you want so pull out one of your 92387498435843 neutral palettes and get to experimenting! The Artist Palette is limited edition and I see it’s already out of stock on the ABH website. It is still available, however, at Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s for $30
Happy Hump Day! I’m finally breaking away from my usual neutral makeup looks and have a colorful pastel pink & purple spring makeup tutorial for you today! I’ve partnered up with Milani Cosmetics on this video and had such a great time playing with their new products. Milani was one of the first makeup brands I played around with when i started wearing more makeup in college – they’re great quality, with amazing color payoff and extremely affordable and easy to find! I especially loved their baked eyeshadows back in the day! The lipstick I used in this tutorial, Matte Orchid, is a great dupe of MAC’s Pink Nouveau which was my go-to lippy in 2010 haha! Enjoy!… View Post
Happy Monday! If you guys keep up with me on social media, I’m sure you saw I was in New York City last month shooting with Guerlain, what an honor! Guerlain is simply iconic. They launched the first bronzer over 30 years ago, so believe me when I say that they know glow. The Terracotta line has grown so much over the years to include glow getter powders in so many different finishes and shades to achieve different kinds of glow: a classic bronzed glow or a natural, healthy glow. Offering a little something for everyone the Terracotta bronzers are available in natural matte finishes as well as a shimmery finish for that extra sparkle.
Think about in what moment you’re always told that you’re glowing, and then we can figure out how to replicate that magic. For me, my husband always tells me that I’m most radiant when I wake up in the morning. While I, a glam girl, might not fully agree – I’m sure he’s on to something and in that case beauty rest must be a real thing! The hustle, bustle, and stresses of the day slowly chip away at the glow I wake up with, so I have to fake it while still achieving a healthy and natural finish.… View Post
