Happy Friday and happy kickoff to the Summer 2016 Olympics! Photos of Rio have been flooding my feeds and I’ve been feeling all these pangs of nostalgia. We traveled to Rio de Janeiro almost a year ago and I know I know… I still haven’t posted anything here on the blog. Remember that hard-drive crash I had awhile back? Yup, lost all of my Brazil videos and photos, welp! I spent this afternoon scraping up whatever I could from our trip – photos from my and Waseem’s instagrams & for some reason Lightroom had some decently sized thumbnails saved, no original files though :( I screenshotted and fixed up what ever I could so please don’t judge me for the quality of these photos. I just wanted to live vicariously as I’m watching the opening ceremony on TV now! Enjoy the throwback!… View Post
Thanks babes for all of the love on this makeup look! Tbh it’s one of my faves! As I mentioned in my review of the Nikkie Tutorials x Too Faced The Power of Makeup Collection, it’s usually pretty hard for me to get color to POP on my lower lashline. My shadows end up muddying and looking lifeless. With these shadows, however, the jewel-tones popped on my brown eyes all night long. I hope you guys really love this tutorial – I slowed down a lot more than usual and really went through my full face routine thoroughly showing you how I layer all of my complexion products, bake, and contour my nose. I hope it’s super helpful, let me know! For a list of all of the products used in this tutorial (with direct links!), keep reading this post!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Just like many of you, Nikkie Tutorials is one of my absolute favorite beauty YouTubers — if not my absolute favorite. Her artistry is an undeniable talent but it’s her production value that really drew me to her when I discovered her channel last year (I’m always late on the train!). Everything is perfection from start to finish, her backdrops, lighting, makeup, and of course her awesome personality. I was so excited to see she was creating a palette with Too Faced, perfectly named The Power of Makeup, and was even more geeked when it showed up on my doorstep (thank you!!!).
Happy Fri-yay! You know when you get a bunch of new stuff and you’re dying to wear it all at once?! I bought this Adidas tracksuit and Céline sunnies while I was in Singapore earlier this month. I’ve been sporting my new shades but LA has been way too hot lately to even think about wearing my tracksuit. I decided to tough it out the other day because it’s just too cute and screams summer! Plus, my new Chanel backpack from Trendlee matches just a little too perfectly! Although there’s a certain sense of excitement when purchasing designer goods at the boutique, sometimes the prices (as they increase every year!) are just a little too ridiculous to justify. That’s where Trendlee comes in! They are a high end pre-loved handbag reseller – highly curated and specialize in luxury brands like Hermes, Chanel, Céline, etc. They take quality and authenticity very seriously and it is always guaranteed! I swear this backpack looks brand spankin’ new. I don’t see a single scratch on it and it’s lambskin which usually is pretty delicate.
I hope you love the look! Don’t forget to check out your designer lust-list at Trendlee.com & you can enjoy 5% off with coupon code IRENESARAH.
I kept my makeup super simple and it wore really pretty! I have outfit and makeup details at the bottom of this post! xo
Finally! My Santorini travel vlog is done! I feel like I dragged my feet with it for months and then these past 5 days or so I worked on it around the clock – from the moment I woke up until 4am every night. I am really happy with how it turned out & hope you love it too! If you’re looking for tips please check out my written Santorini Travel Guide; I also have a review of the hotel we stayed at in Oia – Andronis Luxury Suites.… View Post
