A Belated Valentine’s Day Tutorial

الله‎ and Evil Eye gold & diamond necklaces by @georgethejeweler | Y Layered Necklace: Baublebar

Happy Friday!

Ha! If you follow me on Instagram & caught my stories these past couple weeks, I’m sure you saw I was stuck editing this video for what felt like forever! This was my first time filming in 4k, & I do have to say that the quality of the footage looked incredible, but I just can’t do that again before updating my iMac’s RAM. Holy Moly!

I created this romantic glam look and was planning on getting it up before Valentine’s Day to give y’all some inspo but alas… its late! I’m a heavy glam girl no matter the season or occasion so I’d wear this look year-round anyways. If you’re into my makeup looks, I’m gonna guess that we’re on the same wave length! Enjoy the look & let me know what you think!

Glitter Bomb Makeup Tutorial

Hi dolls!

I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone with makeup lately and have been really trying to play with color! I recently received the new Urban Decay Moondust palette and couldn’t wait to dig into it. I usually am drawn to mattes and this palette is completely shimmer but with its unique duo toned jewel-tones, I couldn’t resist! I also finally dug into my metallic liquid lipsticks which I’ve been hesitant to play with. I was never a fan of frosty or pearlized lipsticks on my complexion but Colourpop Flitter, which is a close dupe for Kylie’s Heir, was sooo gorgeous with this look. Definitely something new for me! I hope you love the tutorial.

Benefit Cosmetics | Dew the Hoola | Review

Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer is such a staple fav! I’ve seen all my favorite insta-MUAs using it for years and I even picked it up myself for the first time a couple years back. It’s a wonderful natural bronzer with a matte finish. Nothing too harsh, no orange, just a beautiful natural glow. I will say though that if you are my complexion or darker, your cheek contour won’t be slice sharp because it is more of a medium tone, rather than a deep contouring powder. It gives me a subtle, glowy contour which I really do love when I’m in the mood for it – especially in the day time.

Hoola fans rejoice! Benefit just released a liquid soft-matte version as well as an all over body bronzer! Even though I naturally have a bronzed complexion, I love using a body bronzer to keep my color even and keep me looking warm. My chest gets especially light compared to the rest of me. The great thing about Hoola Zero Tanlines is that there is an applicator hidden away right in the cap – no stained hands! I believe this is to be used like “body makeup” it isn’t a gradual self-tanner, so it washes off at the end of the day.

Benefit Cosmetics has always been one of my favorite beauty brands. Not only are their products amazing but I absolutely adore their brand image!!! Being a huge sucker for packaging, branding is a big scoop of icing on the cake. Everything they do is uber cute & feminine. Last night,…
