Paisley Maxi Dress | Folegandros, Greece

Happy Sunday!

I’m really going to miss the beautiful light in Greece, not only is the environment so picture perfect.. I feel like everyone’s so photogenic in it too! I absolutely love this set of photos I took of myself this morning after breakfast @ Anemi Hotel in Folegandros. I finally put a little bit of effort into my hair and makeup so I got to take it easy in this breezy maxi dress. The blue & white paisley print is so perfect for a Greek holiday! This dress (& everything sitewide @ boohoo) is 50% off for another 12 hours!

Embroidered Dress | Greek Island Style

Good evening from Folegandros!

I am so sorry for being so MIA on the blog! This summer has been so busy with travels and projects on my other platforms (like YT & IG!), I’ve totally been ignoring my blog-fam – wah! I can’t, or rather shouldn’t, complain about being busy but I can honestly say that I’m pooped! I’m laying in my stark-white room at Anemi Hotel getting ready to turn in for the night but I wanted to share with you my outfit from today. I’m currently on a press-trip in Greece. After a couple days in Athens, today was our first day in Folegandros – a little island in the Cyclades. It’s my first time on the island and its so gorgeous! I can’t wait to share my travels with you, but in the meantime.. my outfits will have to do, 🙂

love that off the shoulder has been back in full force all summer, & I’ve been rocking it all season. When I saw this little embroidered dress I thought it was so perfect for this trip and just had to have it! I’ve been loving the trending wicker basket bags as well!! Mine isn’t quite a basket but its beautifully woven; I bought it in Bali earlier this summer. If I wasn’t so sick leading up to my trip I could have taken my time putting outfits together a little better – I think a brown belt would compliment this entire look so well but I am totally accessory-less! I literally just threw all of my new clothes into a suitcase a few hours before my flight lol! Luckily, I think this is still a perfect look for this laid-back traditional island.

Travelgram Throwback: Rio de Janeiro

Happy Friday and happy kickoff to the Summer 2016 Olympics! Photos of Rio have been flooding my feeds and I’ve been feeling all these pangs of nostalgia. We traveled to Rio de Janeiro almost a year ago and I know I know… I still haven’t posted anything here on the blog. Remember that hard-drive crash I had awhile back? Yup, lost all of my Brazil videos and photos, welp! I spent this afternoon scraping up whatever I could from our trip – photos from my and Waseem’s instagrams & for some reason Lightroom had some decently sized thumbnails saved, no original files though 🙁 I screenshotted and fixed up what ever I could so please don’t judge me for the quality of these photos. I just wanted to live vicariously as I’m watching the opening ceremony on TV now! Enjoy the throwback!

Santorini Vlog + Travelgram

Finally! My Santorini travel vlog is done! I feel like I dragged my feet with it for months and then these past 5 days or so I worked on it around the clock – from the moment I woke up until 4am every night. I am really happy with how it turned out & hope you love it too! If you’re looking for tips please check out my written Santorini Travel Guide; I also have a review of the hotel we stayed at in Oia – Andronis Luxury Suites.

Travelgram: Bali, Indonesia

Happy Throwback Thursday!

I spent a couple weeks in Bali last month and it might sound silly but I was so proud of my Instagram feed! I know, some of you blogging-veterans (or fans of said veterans) are probably chuckling thinking well, that’s cute – but hear me out!! Drool-worthy feeds are not easy to curate even with a photographer/IG-husband in tow – not that I have either of those things! I was stressed before embarking on this solo-trip because I knew I would have to create everything myself. I mentally rallied and was up for the challenge. I was already heading to Bali to learn front-end web development @ Institute of Code so why not also push my photography/selfie skills to the next level too? I just love how everything turned out and I’m so excited to get started on my full travel-diary and vlogs soon. In the meantime.. here’s a little sneak peek! Check out the full post to take a look back at my Bali feed. #tbt
