Be a Glow Getter

Happy Monday! If you guys keep up with me on social media, I’m sure you saw I was in New York City last month shooting with Guerlain, what an honor! Guerlain is simply iconic. They launched the first bronzer over 30 years ago, so believe me when I say that they know glow. The Terracotta line has grown so much over the years to include glow getter powders in so many different finishes and shades to achieve different kinds of glow: a classic bronzed glow or a natural, healthy glow. Offering a little something for everyone the Terracotta bronzers are available in natural matte finishes as well as a shimmery finish for that extra sparkle.

Think about in what moment you’re always told that you’re glowing, and then we can figure out how to replicate that magic. For me, my husband always tells me that I’m most radiant when I wake up in the morning. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Guerlain’s celebrity makeup artist, Mr. Marcus Monson; he created a unique face-chart for me and schooled us on the amazing product line we were working with. I’ve actually been using the Terracotta Original bronzer for years! It enhances your natural, beautiful complexion with some warmth and glow. It’s available in a wide range of shades for every skintone; the finish is always naturally bronzy, never orange. Apply to your temples, cheekbones, & jawline; the Guerlain signature “3” gesture that we all know and love. This look is subtle and super buildable – you’ll be achieving your beautiful sunkissed glow in just seconds!

Since I’ve loved the Terracotta Original for so long I knew I’d fall hard for the Terracotta Light. Marcus used this to highlight my best features with some light and luminosity to really make them pop! The compact is a mosaic of 5 golden shimmer shades, the formula is much like the original but with a subtle iridescence. This gives your skin a soft focused luminous look; the iridescence reflects light and really enhances your natural glow. It’s a great way to transition your makeup from day to night. You can apply it across your forehead, cheeks and chin – again in the signature “3” gesture. Alternatively you can use the Terracotta light as a highlighter, and you all know I am forever welcoming more highlighters to my vanity with open arms!
