Happy Friday!!
Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Summer Collection is available today! 7 new eyeshadows, 6 creme colors and 2 liquid lipsticks!! I’ll get swatches (& hopefully a look!) up this weekend using the products but today I finally have my lip swatch video of all 22 shades of ABH Liquid Lipstick!!! It took me forever to get around to film this but I’m glad I waited because I was able to include the two new shades that are releasing today: Craft & Unicorn. These lippies have been so popular and all of the swatches I saw when they released got me super excited but I was nervous because I wasn’t able to find swatches on anyone with a similar skintone to mine. I’d say the closest I’ve seen is Missy Lynn – but me being Desi, my undertones are different from hers. After receiving the entire range (Thank you so much Anastasia!) I realized just how important a good point of reference is; you’ll notice with the lighter colors how different they look on me – Milkshake and Bambi especially! The formula of these are fantastic!!!! I honestly don’t know how they’ve gotten pockets of negative reviews because they really are exactly what they claim to be… very opaque, non-transferring, long lasting matte lip colors. I included shots of me actually applying the product in my video so you can see how it applies and not just the resulting color.
My absolute favorites of the bunch are Persimmon, Vamp, & Pure Hollywood; I adore all of the corals too. I think Pure Hollywood is their most popular shade, it looks completely different on everyone but so far from what I’ve seen I think it absolutely suits every skintone too!! The only shades that I don’t see myself wearing are, again, Milkshake & Bambi. But I never just wear one color on it’s own anyways so I can always ombre/highlight with them 🙂 FYI I didn’t use any lipliner, I wanted the swatches to be as true to color as possible! I’ve included video screencaps below also so you can see all of the colors side by side!

Thank you so much for doing this video swatch! I’m Bengali and we have very similar skin tone so it’s great to see how all the colors look on someone. Every time I go to the store they are all sold out. The few that I did get to try on didn’t suit me. Most of them if not all look gorgeous on you. I know the lighter ones didn’t suit me as much. I’ve been looking for a nice coral and they all look great! I’m going to get a few now, thanks!
