Hello from London!
I’m recuperating in our hotel room after a very long day of travels and I’m finally ready to share my camera/gear collection with you! Obviously I filmed this when I was in Mexico two weeks ago but I held off on posting it because of the holiday. I thought I’d squeeze it in before I post my New Years Eve tutorials this week – because who wants to wait another week?! I’ll list the items in order of the video but I’ll include all of the little accessories that I didn’t mention in the video here as we go. Enjoy!

One thing I didn’t mention in the video because I purchased it afterwards for my Europe trip is this voltage converter & adapter – it’s flippin’ amazing.. it actually converts the power not just an outlet adapter and you only need one and you’re good to go because it has three plugs and four USB ports, two of which are high-speed.

I love all your work but what I love even more than your make-up is your tech love! I am an engineering student and I know exactly the excitement you feel when you receive any tech products! I saw your snap about the products you received from 3DR and felt so excited! I build drones with the UAV Club on my campus and love the whole idea of aerial photography and videography. But, I have also felt he sexism you have felt in a male dominated field. IT SUCKS! I know exactly how that feels, I get mistreated all the time and hated on as an engineering student and I’m so afraid that when I start working this year it’ll get worse! Nonetheless, I am so glad that a beautiful blogger like yourself is shattering the perception of us science babes not being pretty, and pretty babes not being smart!
Hey Irene, i dont know i felt like I wanted to say this, I love your work I didnt find out about you for the makeup tutorials but for the photography videos you used to make of models and misses. I really miss those highlight videos and your photography really inspires me to get better at mine since Ive been a photographer since 12. Love all your work and your tutorials are seriously the bomb ! You’re the best !

Hey Irene! I just watched your vlog for this post and it was super helpful. By the way the pictures from your current trip in Europe are phenomenal! When you’re going to different sites when traveling do you carry majority of your gear with you? Also what camera did you use for your solo shots in Paris? I hope you enjoy your the rest of your trip!
Really helpful post Irene! You’re vlogs are always of impeccable quality. I was wondering, what lenses do you take with you for your 5D mark III? I’m currently looking into upgrading from a 550d to a 70D body and I have the kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. What lenses would you recommend I invest in?
