I’m so excited to start sharing this project with you! We’re working with Naomi from Little Crown Interiors to finally put Iya’s room together!! She is such a talented nursery & children’s room interior designer here in Southern California. We are in great hands!
We moved into our first home a little less than a year ago and I couldn’t wait to settle in and design our space. Unfortunately, I had a few personal things going on last year that kind of put all home projects at a halt; but I’m so so happy to really start making our house a home in 2019 starting now!! What better place to start than the center of our universe, our daughter’s room. ♥
I told Naomi that I wanted a very feminine floral feel, traditional yet modern, and I definitely wanted wallpaper!!! Long gone are the tacky prints from the 80s & 90s that I remember from my childhood. There’s been such a resurgence recently with so many chic options & brilliant room designs. Excited!! Last year I really had my heart set on doing a Beverly Hills Hotel inspired room but decided not to thinking it’d end up being too busy – Naomi tied in the tropical banana leaf vibe with some plants and I love it!!!
