My sun, my moon, & my stars… I can’t believe my littlest love is ONE!
I worked with Shumaila & Saadia for the very first time exactly 5 years ago for my babyshower and now here we are planning my 2nd born’s first birthday! These ladies have been by my side helping us create the most beautiful celebrations throughout my entire motherhood experience. It’s always a full circle moment when the 3 of us come together, but this falling on Mother’s Day weekend really hit me in the feels! I can’t thank you two enough!
I racked my brain for months trying to think of the perfect theme – I love a good play on words lol. I saw “First Trip Around the Sun” a few months back and absolutely fell in love with it but I really wanted to make it my own. After leafing through all the different astronaut / rocketship variations.. I landed at a soft girly celestial vision. I didn’t know how to explain what I wanted (cotton candy sailor moon celestial vibes lmao) but somehow these ladies completely read my mind. This has to be my favorite event we’ve done together yet. Pure magic!!

Bonus afterpartyyyy!! Waseem’s Birthday is this week so I wanted to surprise him since all our friends and family were already gathered 🙂 @eatchubz made a gorgeous cake for him and I found the BEST hookah catering by @letssmokellc_!!! I know I’ve been gassing them up on IG but seriously – their custom flavors were SO good, their actual hookah’s were beautiful and smoked so smooth, AND they made sure everyone had fresh coals at all times (on our own individual hookahs too, whaaaat?!!?) Everyone was obsessed with this experience.. 10/10 recommend!
