I teamed up with Disney last week to create a 60s mod double winged liner look using some pieces from the new Disney Minnie x Sephora collection. The pieces are to die for and I just love the packaging, it’s a perfect collection that all ages would love! What item are you lusting after the most? My favorite cosmetic piece is the Minnie’s World in Color Eyeshadow Palette – there are 20 shades that range from mattes to shimmers, super pigmented! My favorite accessory is definitely the Reflection of Minnie Compact Mirror, a forever staple in my purse now. So cute!
Foundation is the most important thing to anything you care about: your home, your relationship… your face lol! I’m sure you’ve noticed in my makeup tutorials that I spend a ton of time on my base, I’d say I dedicate a good 50% of my time. With my obsession with a flawless base comes a massive collection of both foundation & applicators. I’ve done it all, fingers, brushes, sponges, airbrush.. its safe to say that not all are created equal.
This applicator doesn’t eat up your [expensive] product like other brushes and sponges. It gently blends and puffs foundation evenly into the skin leaving an airbrush finish. Every pore, nook, & cranny of your beautiful face will look polished to perfection. Just dot your foundation over your face and begin blending away with your Clinique Sonic System, you won’t need to apply any pressure at all, just gently glide away.
Happy Monday! Weeee I’m super excited about today’s makeup tutorial because it’s probably my favorite makeup I’ve done on myself yet. I don’t know if it’s because I really took the time to show you contouring, highlighting, and baking, but it finished so flawlessly! I hope you all love it too! I wanted to do a tutorial on Instagram makeup. To me, this is the look that’s trending all over the insta-sphere, and it’s also a look that a lot of people hate.. its pretty polarizing. Glam girls love it but a lot of MUAs in the industry hate it for how bold and harsh it can be. Different strokes for different folks! A girl like me loves me some cake, so be prepared to watch me layer it on!! 🙂
Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer is such a staple fav! I’ve seen all my favorite insta-MUAs using it for years and I even picked it up myself for the first time a couple years back. It’s a wonderful natural bronzer with a matte finish. Nothing too harsh, no orange, just a beautiful natural glow. I will say though that if you are my complexion or darker, your cheek contour won’t be slice sharp because it is more of a medium tone, rather than a deep contouring powder. It gives me a subtle, glowy contour which I really do love when I’m in the mood for it – especially in the day time.
Hoola fans rejoice! Benefit just released a liquid soft-matte version as well as an all over body bronzer! Even though I naturally have a bronzed complexion, I love using a body bronzer to keep my color even and keep me looking warm. My chest gets especially light compared to the rest of me. The great thing about Hoola Zero Tanlines is that there is an applicator hidden away right in the cap – no stained hands! I believe this is to be used like “body makeup” it isn’t a gradual self-tanner, so it washes off at the end of the day.
After Leonardo Dicaprio, Priyanka Chopra was the #2 most googled person after the Oscars! No surprise there as she looked so stunning and is such a star in both Hollywood and Bollywood. Her success in the west is truly inspiring! I loved her simple look with the mauve matte lip and just had to recreate it, let me know what you think!
